We encourage each child to value themselves and each other, to approach learning with enthusiasm and energy and to revel in discovery at every stage of the learning journey we provide. How? By creating a small community where the word ‘nurturing’ is something tangible to the children. Concentrating on a strategy of child-centred attention is key to our continuing success. But we don’t forget our parents.
We realise that for many parents sending their child to school for the first time, their own last experience of school was when they were the pupil. We’re here to hold your hand too. Together with parents we try to establish each child’s unique qualities and particular talents and aim to develop them as fully as possible. Not least, we aim to help parents through what may seem like a minefield of academic options for your child.
Academic ambition is balanced to ensure the Learning Journey is a happy and successful experience, which will last a lifetime and culminate in the short term with the children entering their next school at ease with themselves and confident in their future.
