Lunches & Menu

Each year parents are invited to have lunch with their children.  Here's what one mother wrote:

"The food was delicious and I was happy to see my son eating different types of food.  I'm glad to see him enjoying lunch and school.  Thank you."

We are extremely proud of the fresh food we serve at St John's Wood Pre-Prep.  All our meat now comes from Kent & Sons Butcher on St John's Wood High Street - it's organic and we know where it comes from.   Lunches are prepared freshly every day in the school kitchen by our caterers.  Founded in 1996, The Brookwood Partnership prides itself in providing ‘a food service that can’t be bettered’ by using fresh ingredients and modern food styles using traditional cooking methods.

Offering a first class, dedicated contract catering service to schools across the UK, Brookwood is a caterer that does not use convenience foods within the production of menus. Brookwood firmly believe that freshly cooked, locally sourced produce is the best for children of today and welcomed by parents. By introducing numerous interactive healthy eating programmes, the caterer ensures children enjoy their food, eat healthily and get the nutrition to support learning in class and fitness on the sports field.

Brookwood’s pioneering approach to education catering has afforded them the British Hospitality Award Food Award and is a Sunday Times Top 100 employer.

Lunchtimes are not only a time for children to enjoy a healthy balanced meal, but also an opportunity for them to socialise and share time with peers and teachers at their lunch table. We also invite parents to join us for lunch during the year.

A mid morning snack of fresh cut fruit, organic semi-skimmed milk and a slice of wholemeal bread with butter is also provided. Children with food allergies or sensitivity are catered for too.
